The vessel, Saham, measures 360 meters long and 65 meters wide, with a deck area equal to 55 basketball courts. Zhanjiang maritime authorities prepared safeguard plans including smart remote control, UAV patrols and escort vessels. Temporary one-way traffic control was imposed, and navigation hazards were cleared to ensure safe entry.
